*Dearborn Public Library hosts an all ages Read Woke Challenge, Jan. 11-Feb. 20, 2021. The Read Woke Challenge encourages community members to read “woke” books and engage in thoughtful dialogue surrounding the themes and topics addressed in the books. What are woke books? They are titles that focus on protagonists from underrepresented groups and/or challenge the status quo or social norms. Learn more or take the Read Woke Challenge

Due to the pandemic, we have been closed to the public since March 13, 2020. Closed doors mean that our earned revenue streams have dried up, and corporate funds have been pivoted to assist with COVID-19 relief or for their own financial survival. We are looking forward to the day we can safely reopen, but until then, we need your support.
