Palestine Cinema Days Screening: Gaza Surf Club/

In-person at AANM
Free with RSVP

On the somber anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, observed on November 2nd, and in an effort to amplify Palestinian voices, we are screening “Gaza Surf Club” directed by Mickey Yamine and Philip Gnadt. This screening is in partnership with and made possible by Palestine Cinema Days and multiple venues around the world. The screening is free of charge.

Trapped in “the world’s largest open-air prison” and ruled by war, a new generation is drawn to the beaches. Sick of occupation and political gridlock, they find their own personal freedom in the waves of the Mediterranean – they are the surfers of Gaza.

Palestine/Documentary/87 minutes/Directed by Mickey Yamine and Philip Gnadt/In Arabic with English Subtitles/In-Person Screening
