Al-Hadiqa: AANM Heritage Garden + Existence Opening Celebration

Celebrate the opening of our new heritage garden on the rooftop of the Museum! Learn more about the formation of the garden that features donated seeds and plants from local Arab American community members, highlighted along with stories of their homelands. Paired with this special celebration is also the opening of Almigdad Aldikhaiiry’s new solo exhibition, كینونة – Existence. Almigdad was AANM’s artist-in-residence during January 2021, where he completed some of the works featured in the exhibit.
From 6 to 8 p.m., join us during open hours on the Museum rooftop, courtyard and temporary gallery for light refreshments and our garden offerings. At 8 p.m., we will convene in the AANM Auditorium for a film screening.
- 6-8 p.m. – Open hours on the rooftop with light refreshments
- 8:30 p.m. – Screening of Foragers (2022) by Jumana Manna in AANM Auditorium
