Talks & Workshops
AANM offers a safe space for dialogue on complex topics and workshops for community engagement and growth. Discussions often tackle questions around identity and the Arab American experience as well as support different communities in building bridges and sharing struggles. Workshops feature artists, often AANM Artists-in-Residence, demonstrating their talents and sharing their stories. The Museum hosts numerous panels and opportunities for community engagement, including our annual Concert of Colors Forum on Community, Culture and Race and the 9/11 Anniversary Town Hall.
This annual Town Hall offers a safe space for communities to reflect and engage in dialogue about the harmful prejudices that Arab, Muslim and other communities face on both an individual and systemic level.
Learn MoreThe Concert of Colors Forum on Community, Culture & Race, one of the largest annual events produced by AANM, is a dynamic gathering of artists, activists and advocates who use performance and dialogue as a tool for advocacy and community building.
