For nearly 30 years, Harout Bastajian’s work could only be seen on the walls and domed ceilings of churches and mosques across the Arab world and in the United States. The Art of Spiritual Enlightenment brings these soaring works to eye level showcasing the incredible detail and process that goes into creating these beautiful and transcendent masterpieces.

Bastajian is a renowned Lebanese muralist of Armenian descent, celebrated for his large-scale works that blend traditional arabesque patterns with intricate geometry and natural motifs. Drawing from both cultural heritage and mathematical precision, his art reflects a deep sense of unity, order and beauty. His work can be seen in mosques and churches throughout the Arab world, West Africa and the United States.
