Jalasat / جلسات (Arabic for “gatherings”) is a monthly pop-up performance series presented by AANM! Join us for the second iteration at Pine Coast, featuring performances by Zekkereya el-Magharbel, JR GotTheHiTS, Jaribu Shahid and Kareem Kanouh.

The initiative brings art, music and cultural storytelling beyond AANM’s walls and into the heart of community spaces—coffee shops, cafés and local venues where people naturally gather and connect. Each Jalasat program creates an intimate, accessible environment that celebrates Arab and Arab American expression through live performance, poetry, music and conversation. The goal is to make art and culture feel close to home—where dialogue and artistic expression flow as naturally as a cup of coffee.
