Cinema Nights at the Museum: Spaces of Exception

In-person at AANM
$5 Suggested Donation

AANM’s Cinema Nights at the Museum continues with the screening of Spaces of Exception, directed by Matt Peterson and Malek Rasamny. Profiling the American Indian reservation alongside the Palestinian refugee camp, this work is an attempt to understand the significance of the land – its memory and divisions – and the conditions for life, community and sovereignty.

Immediately following the screening, we are pleased to be joined in-person by directors Matt Peterson and Malek Rasamny for an intimate talkback. The screening will take place at AANM and is free of charge with a suggested $5 donation at the door. 100% of donations will go to Middle East Children’s Alliance, which is focused on relief for Palestine.

90 minutes / 2019 / Occupied Territories, United States, Lebanon / Documentary / English, Arabic with English Subtitles/In-Person Screening
