Global Fridays: Ping Chong + Company: Undesirable Elements/Dearborn

Ping Chong + Company is partnering with the Arab American National Museum to present Undesirable Elements/Dearborn, an interview-based theater production for AANM’s Global Fridays series with local participants, exploring the diverse experiences and histories of Dearborn’s Arab American Muslim population. 

Ping Chong + Company is an internationally acclaimed theater company known for bringing unheard voices to the stage. Ping Chong + Company will conduct extensive interviews with residents who identify as Arab American Muslim women or nonbinary individuals. We are looking for stories that reflect a wide range of Dearborn experiences, be it as part of family history, your hometown, business location, or current place of residence. Interviews will take place approximately between February 24 and March 4. If you are chosen for an interview, we will contact you and do our best to work with your schedule.

No previous performance experience required!
 
Participants will be compensated for their time. Ages 18+
