FREE Educational resources for students and teachers

The Arab American National Museum (AANM) invites Michigan educators and their K-12 students to enjoy special educational experiences AT NO COST during the 2018-19 academic year.

These extraordinary resources, powered by the Institute for Museum and Library Services, are essential and timely tools for leading informed dialogue about diversity and difference while addressing prevailing stereotypes of Arabs, Arab Americans and Islam.

OCT. 20 EDUCATOR WORKSHOP

AANM is hosting a  free full-day professional development workshop for educators on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Museum, featuring speakers, dialogue sessions, pedagogical strategies and approaches to incorporating curriculum into the classroom, as well as networking activities.

All Michigan-based educators are welcome. Educators also have the opportunity to earn SCECH upon request.
