FREE Educational resources for students and teachers

AANM invites Michigan educators and their K-12 students to enjoy special educational experiences AT NO COST during the 2018-19 academic year.

These extraordinary resources, powered by the Institute for Museum and Library Services, are essential and timely tools for leading informed dialogue about diversity and difference while addressing prevailing stereotypes of Arabs, Arab Americans and Islam.

Made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

EDUCATOR WORKSHOP

AANM is hosting a free full-day professional development workshop for educators, featuring speakers, dialogue sessions, pedagogical strategies and approaches to incorporating curriculum into the classroom, as well as networking activities.

This workshop allows educators to obtain unique AANM lesson plans along with cultural and educational knowledge on Arab Americans, have a safe space for questions and dialogue with experts in the field, and discover useful resources to use in the classroom.

All Michigan-based educators are welcome. Educators also have the opportunity to earn SCECH upon request.
